Instructions
Prepare the pizza dough
Mixing flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Add the warm water to the bowl and mix to create a basic pizza dough.
On a flat, floured surface, knead the dough, 2-3 minutes, until you have a little dough ball.
Place the dough ball in a clean bowl, cover, and allow to rise, 25-30 minutes.
Divide the dough into three parts (one for each pizza!), roll each one out. The thickness is your choice, but I recommend a thinner crust.
Prepare your baking sheet by lightly brushing it with vegetable oil. Place the rolled out doughs on the tray.
Prepare pizza sauce
Mixing tomato paste, olive oil, water, basil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Spread on to your pizza doughs.
Add the toppings
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
For the Frankenstein’s monster pizza only: Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese over the dough.
Bake the pizza doughs (one with cheese, two with sauce only), 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven.
For the Frankenstein’s monster pizza: Use slices of red onion, tomato, and green olives to make the eyes. Make the mouth, nose, and hair using bell peppers. Use mushroom slices for the ears.
For the mummy pizza: Use mozzarella strips to make the bandages and sliced black olives for the eyes.
For the spider pizza: Use mozzarella strips to create the spider web, and chopped black olives to make the spiders.
Bake all three pizzas for a further 1-2 minutes at 400 degrees F. Boo!
Notes
Hey, bestie! Quick note: For recipes like this where toppings are based on your creativity or personal design, it becomes almost impossible to give exact ingredient quantities. I’ve given an estimate above, based on what I used. But as your design may vary, your topping amounts may also vary. (If there’s no number next to an ingredient, you just need a single piece.)
I recommend checking out the Halloween pizza recipe video to see exactly how the designs came to be!
