Scale
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 350g linguine pasta
- 1/2 cup mushrooms
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 zucchini
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3–4 spring onions
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 5 cups hot water
Instructions
- Start by chopping your vegetables into thin strips.
- Once prepared, heat your olive oil over a low heat in a wok. Add the sesame seeds to the hot olive oil. Add in the sliced mushrooms, fry for 2-3 minutes, followed by the remaining chopped vegetables. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the pasta, soy sauce, hot water, and cook for 7-8 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through. Add the honey, and mix well.
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top, along with some chopped green onions for garnish. Enjoy!
Notes
If you feel that your pasta is too wet, try adding a teaspoon of cornstarch to thicken the mixture. I’ve never had to do this, but different pans, heats, and pasta brands can create some differences.
